How Your Creative Process Can Be Reparented

I’ve become fascinated by the creative birthing process since becoming a coach. I've noticed a mirror between how I birthed my children and how I bring my creative projects to life.
While I was pregnant with my first daughter 7 years ago I organised a huge fundraiser event for the UN Women charity for International Womens Day. We sold over a thousand tickets and brought together some huge stars across different creative industries.
I wanted it to be enjoyable but instead experienced lots of frustration in the run up and a deep disappointment afterwards. I had a similar experience through my first daughter’s birth. I felt an unworthiness that would take me years to unravel properly.
But in the years that followed I learnt to reparent myself and become more self compassionate when bringing things to life. So much so that my second daughter’s birth was completely different. I speak about that in depth here.
I learnt that to bring things to life doesn’t always need to be a struggle. That actually when you learn to trust yourself in life, it can be extraordinarily easy.
I believe that’s part of the world I’m here to do now; to help people go beyond the narrative that life is hard and to get what you want you need to sacrifice your needs and overcome difficulties.
That actually when you learn to trust your inner and outer world you can quantum leap into your visions easily. That when you soften inside, the outside world changes with you.
This is the process I had with my podcast which was birthed after I experienced a string of synchronicities in which I felt inspired to hit record. (I'm currently finishing the 3rd series and enjoying every minute!)
It also happened shortly after my second daughter’s birth when I had a flash of insight and created my Reparent Your Inner Child course. Within a few weeks I had launched it and the results were beyond my expectations. Here’s what people said about it.
"I came away with such a feeling of insight. It softened parts of me I didn’t even know were still holding on.”
“More acceptance and appreciation for myself — that’s what I’ll carry forward.”
Recently I’ve been called to a new vision that feels scary and yet empowering. You’ll be hearing more on that soon and inside we’ll be diving deeper into these creative birth patterns and how to Reparent them.
✨What does this stir about your own creative process?
✨How do you bring things to life? Do you find it easy at all times or do you stop and start?
✨What helps you get back in flow when you lose your momentum?
✨ And for the mums out there how does this relate to the births of your children?
But when you learn to reparent your inner child, you can let go of the struggle and learn to be kinder to yourself. This will transform how you bring things to life in your own creative process.
I’m currently offering 30% off my 1:1 coaching sessions for August and for the first time I'm including the Reparent Your Inner Child experience. This is a wonderful tool to help soften your inner critic, create stronger boundaries and learn to honour your needs.
What’s included:
