The Mother's Table

A Supper Club Exploring The Richness Of Motherhood

Motherhood can be one of the most profound and transformative experiences of our lives. Yet when we talk about it, it's often reduced to sleep issues, household work and emotional overwhelm.

Throughout my motherhood journey, I’ve often felt a yearning for rich conversation about my constantly shifting identity, my evolving values and how mothering changes how I relate to myself and the world.

On Friday 13th March, I'm opening up my Hackney home to twelve mothers for an evening of deep, meaningful conversation about what it means to be a modern mother. Together we'll explore the profound and the playful, the mystical and the mundane, the tears and the belly laughs.

Over a beautiful meal, we'll explore the parts of motherhood that don't fit into neat boxes. Bringing together women from all walks of life, this is for mothers who want to talk about how this sacred, messy, ridiculous, beautiful role transforms us from the inside out.

The evening will unfold with:

✨ A welcome into my home with a drink

✨ A three-course, home-cooked meal made by the wonderful Hurley Girl Farm, renowned for her delicious dishes made with love.

✨ Playful inner child exercises and space to be witnessed, held, and seen by other mothers who get it

✨ Conversations and laughter that will light you up for the weeks to come

The menu is based about seasonal ingredients that tie into the spring equinox, saying goodbye to the winter with fresh, zingy produce to bring your taste buds back to life. Featuring three courses and a palate cleanser that are all meat and dairy free, other dietary requirements can be catered to with advance notice.

The theme is the Inner Child because so often when you’re triggered by your children, it's your younger self asking to be tended to. Together, we'll connect to these younger parts of you and gift them the time and space to play, to laugh and to witness that you’re not in this alone.

This evening explores themes we dive into deeper in Reparenting the Motherload., a 17 week group experience that helps mothers thrive in all they’re holding. Those inside get priority access. To join the waiting list for the next intake click here.

Only 12 spaces available. Sliding scale pricing (suggested £50 per person) | £2 from each ticket supports Hackney Baby Bank helping mothers in crisis

I’m Melissa Maouris and I've been a full time coach since 2017. I have trained in mindfulness, neuroscience and inner child work and specialise in Reparenting helping people embody their own ideal parent for themselves. I'm a mother of two and have run multiple successful solo businesses over the last two decades. Inspired by my own personal growth and trauma-informed trainings, I've developed Reparenting the Motherload.  This supper club is a continuation of the growth that happens inside, plus a chance to try reparenting and be connected to a rich community of mothers.
